Frequently Asked Questions

"Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes."
Carl Jung

Can I use the MBTI® instrument to sort prospective employees?

Although there are many useful applications of the MBTI assessment in the workplace, there are ethical concerns in using it for hiring purposes. Please carefully consider this as you develop your program for employees. You can read more about these concerns and other ethical considerations here and here.

I took the MBTI® instrument several years ago but can't find my report. How do I find out what my results were?

Because the MBTI is a psychological instrument and the report is confidential, you will have to contact the person who gave it to you to obtain your results. The Myers & Briggs Foundation does not have those records.
